Jesse Henderson, Western Regional Sales Manager Albia, IA (March 12, 2020) – Kness Manufacturing, an industry leader in high-quality pest defense products, is proud to announce the hiring of Jesse Henderson as the company’s Western Regional Sales Manager. Henderson, with nearly two decades of sales and managerial experience, will oversee the sales of Kness’ diverse lineup of pest solutions in the Western United States.

“The greatest impact Jesse will have at Kness is his vast knowledge of the retail sales market. Kness plans to utilize his retail sales experience developing and implementing strategies in order to build on our existing platform,” said Dan Crew, Kness General Manager. “We feel that the drive and passion he brings to Kness complements the sales team.”

Henderson joins Kness with an abundance of professional sales expertise that he’s honed throughout his career in the Lawn and Garden industry. Starting out in a warehouse position at Harper Bush Works, he diligently worked his way up to become a Sales Manager, Key Account Sales Manager, and then Regional Sales Manager, during a period when the company was acquired by other well-established manufacturers.

That time in the industry helped Henderson build a vast knowledge of retail, long-lasting professional relationships, and the skillset to quickly learn about new products to create more effective sales. The drive for success lead Henderson to implement a category solutions program that increased total sales for a major hardware retail account by 15%, which lead to being bestowed the vendor of the year award. He is looking forward to applying that adept thinking towards his new position with Kness Manufacturing.
